Musical Theatre Vocational Courses

(ages 8+)


NMTA’s Musical Theatre Vocational Course includes more advanced study of the necessary aspects of musical theatre performance:


The Vocational Course also includes study of music history, singing/instrumental performance styles, music theory and grammar, history of classical theatre, literature, ballet and modern performing arts: stage show singing, contemporary dance, jazz, step, drama acting.

NMTA’s Musical Theatre Vocational Course is delivered in English and Russian languages.

Vocational Course

Vocational groups (training for solo parts in the production):

Three terms per year; each term is typically ten weeks.

- 8 years and above

- 2 hours of group tuition (£65)  2 x 60 min lessons

plus 1 hour individual (one-to-one) tuition (£60) per week

total per week  = £125 p/w

All categories / ages:

 Before joining NMTA, all students are required to attend an audition (15-20 mins, £15) where they will be asked to sing their favourite song in any style they choose.

LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts)

Exam Preparation Course:(£60) 60 min p/w

During the Vocational Course all students perform at least two times per year at London theatre venues:

at the end of Winter and Summer terms.

In 2017 NMTA will release two opera-musical productions:

Alice in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass

Some students will be invited for regular participation in workshops and may also have the opportunity to be selected for international cultural trips abroad, to participate in Theatre Festivals and Intensive Project Courses, Summer Workshops/Courses.
